The July issue of Issue Maker introduced Prof. Min Kim's laboratory at JBNU: developing smart sensors that will lead smart homes and smart buildings.
Hoseok Lee, Donghwa Lee, and Haedam Jin (co-first authors) — a paper on perovskite-based optical humidity sensors was accepted in Nanoscale Advances.
Selected for a Samsung industry-academia collaboration project — a joint project between Prof. Kihyun Kim's group (Electronic Engineering) and Prof. Min Kim's group (Chemical Engineering): "Development of Next-Generation Perovskite-Silicon Hybrid Semiconductor Devices."
The team will develop device technologies essential for future autonomous-mobility driving, using CMOS-compatible processes and silicon-perovskite materials. By developing domestic core technology for autonomous-driving sensors, the project is expected to strengthen Korea's competitiveness in future mobility and sensor technologies.
